The teachings of the pastor Sebastian Kneipp are present in Füssen and its districts in a modern way. These are based on the five pillars of water, exercise, herbs, healthy nutrition and inner order. In Hopfen am See you will find, for example, numerous adventure stations on this topics. A special highlight is the "Kneipp-site" at lake Hopfen with a special isle for water contact in the lake! From spring 2019, there will be a movement course in Weißensee on the western shore of the lake, a new footbath and arm basin, a water playground for children and a resting place.
Sleep better in Füssen
Sleep is vital, a basic need like eating and drinking. When the sleep is good, we recover and recharge our batteries - physically, mentally and spiritually. Sleep is an active state in which the conscious experience is turned off. Every person has an individual need for sleep. Whether we are post or morning person, a long or a short sleeper, we are already born in the cradle. But we all sleep according to a similar rhythm. Many factors influence our night's sleep: state of health, lifestyle, stress, environmental influences, design of the bedroom and the quality of the mattress, blanket and pillows. Together with scientists from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, Füssen has researched how the sleep quality can be improved. In addition, some hosts in Füssen have been specially trained – our so-called sleep hosts.
