Guided City Tour Füssen
Discover the old town of Füssen.
Not for nothing the Romantic Road and the German Alpine Road tourist routes cross in Bavaria's highest city. Füssen's history has always been determined by its location on an old trunk road. For more than 2,000 years, war troops, trade caravans, emperors and kings have reached the city on the Via Claudia Augusta, which is still a popular transalpine route with the Fern- and Reschenpass. Lute and violin makers once made the city on the river Lech famous throughout Europe. In 1562, Europe's first guild of lute makers was founded here.
Sightseeing in the royal Allgäu? The world-famous addresses of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau are of course first and foremost attractive. But also the romantic old town of Füssen invites you to stroll and discover: medieval alleys and town houses, baroque churches and monasteries and two museums worth seeing. "Because who knows, sees more!" That is why you will find some offers from our tour guides for guided tours in the following. Not only Füssen itself, but also the royal castles, the famous church Wieskirche or the natural attractions of the Allgäu can be explored in competent company.
